Misha is a Research Scientist whose work focuses on the molecular mechanisms of central and peripheral nociception. He develops protocols and analysis algorithms for laser-evoked axon reflex flare as a biomarker of normal and diseased nociception, as well as translational pain models to bridge basic research and clinical applications. Misha brings extensive programming expertise in R, MATLAB, and Python, including the inference of gene regulatory networks using information-theoretic and predictive modeling approaches. Outside of the lab, he is an avid tinkerer and licensed ham radio operator.
