Lidia has diverse research experiences working on both microbiology and behavioral neuroscience research projects during her undergraduate studies. She grew up with a parent severely disabled by a neurodegenerative disease and her career goal is to pursue graduate studies and contribute to groundbreaking research in studying the nervous system and potentially elucidate the role of microbes and/or inflammation in brain, behavior, and health.
