Ashin was born and raised in the Bay Area. He received a B.S. in Human Biology from the University of Southern California and is currently working on projects to investigate the effects high-intensity focused ultra sound on nerve conduction. After completing this work, he hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career in medicine as an anesthesiologist.
