Sharon holds a Sc.B. from Brown University with a double concentration in Biology and Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations. After graduation, she worked in clinical research at Massachusetts General Hospital using PET/fMRI to investigate the effects of opioid and non-opioid analgesics on neural pathways. She is currently enrolled at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and plans to apply for anesthesiology residency. She is passionate about her project investigating the effects of high-intensity focused ultrasound on nerve conduction in an ex vivo rodent model.
