biography
T. Anthony Anderson was born and raised in California. He received a B.A. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.D. from the University of Michigan, anesthesia residency training at the University of California, San Francisco, and pediatric anesthesia fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Anderson is an assistant editor for Anesthesia and Analgesia. His major research focuses are 1) the use of focused ultrasound for peripheral nerve neuromodulation and 2) pediatric perioperative outcomes.
