Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroscience
The Anderson laboratory in the Stanford University School of Medicine has a post-doctoral fellowship position open. The position appointment start date is as soon as possible.
The Anderson laboratory is looking for a postdoctoral fellow in neuroscience. The fellow will work closely with Dr. T. Anthony Anderson and members of his laboratory (and in collaboration with Professor David Yeomans) on an NIH-funded research project on the use of focused ultrasound as a non-invasive method of peripheral neuromodulation for pain management. The project uses rodent pain models, behavioral testing, and light and electron microscopy to follow the effects of focused ultrasound on peripheral nerves.
Our research group prioritizes a collaborative and inclusive team environment. The principal investigator and collaborators are experienced mentors who are highly committed to supporting the postdoctoral fellow in advancing their career as a future independent investigator. The postdoctoral fellow will have opportunities to both lead and contribute to research projects.
This postdoctoral fellowship position will be based in the Stanford University School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative & Pain Medicine. Trainees from any discipline who meet the required qualifications are encouraged to apply.
